The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira moves forwards but Mctwist connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has been cut.
Nogueira pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mctwist back to the cage. Nogueira follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Nogueira bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mctwist's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mctwist ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nogueira lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd cheers as Nogueira lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mctwist doesn't seem phased though.
