Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Zummi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atoni Knanjaoui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zummi comes to the cage accompanied by Gummi Bears. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knanjaoui loads up on a big right hand but Zummi slips the punch.
Zummi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knanjaoui moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Zummi is looking to clinch.
Knanjaoui lands a jab to Zummi's midsection.
Knanjaoui checks a low kick from Zummi.
Zummi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Steve Zummi has been cut.

Zummi drops Knanjaoui with a beautiful combination! Knanjaoui stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Zummi is looking for the KO!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Zummi pushes Knanjaoui up against the cage in a clinch.
Knanjaoui is still on wobbly legs! Can Zummi finish him?
Knanjaoui swings wildly with an uppercut but Zummi uses good head movement to avoid it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Knanjaoui.
Knanjaoui seems to have recovered his senses.
Knanjaoui tries to throw a body punch but Zummi avoids it by throwing Knanjaoui back against the cage.
Knanjaoui is looking to break free of the clinch but Zummi has double underhooks.

Zummi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Knanjaoui gets tackled into the cage by Zummi. Zummi maintains the clinch.

Knanjaoui breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Steve Zummi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knanjaoui lands a right hook to the body.

Zummi connects with a jab.
Knanjaoui uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zummi has time to react.
Zummi tries to clinch there but Knanjaoui circles away.

and Knanjaoui connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zummi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Zummi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Knanjaoui pinned against the cage. Knanjaoui gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Knanjaoui fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Knanjaoui connects with a single shot there.
Knanjaoui swats away the attempt to clinch by Zummi.
Zummi tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Knanjaoui is able to avoid easily.
Zummi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Knanjaoui was well out of range. Poor timing from Zummi.
Knanjaoui lands a slapping body shot.
Knanjaoui throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Zummi is breathing heavily.
Zummi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Knanjaoui dodges the punch combination from Zummi.

Zummi looks to land a combination. Knanjaoui sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Zummi is looking to clinch but Knanjaoui is avoiding it.
Zummi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Knanjaoui cracks Zummi with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Zummi tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Knanjaoui pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Zummi is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
