Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kane Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zen Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kane Fury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Zen Blood!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fury defends it nicely.
Blood shoots in and drives through. Fury sprawls well.
Fury fails with the takedown.

Fury drives through with a takedown into Blood's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Fury has gone for a leg lock! Blood slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fury's guard.

Blood is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fury is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fury has escaped and now he's on top!

Blood goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Fury is on top in guard.

Fury postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Blood is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fury, into his guard.

Fury drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Blood dives on top into guard.

Kane Fury dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Blood stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blood wants it to stay on the feet.
Kane Fury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blood is defended easily by Fury.
Fury changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blood tries to avoid it but Fury manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blood to the ground. Blood escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Blood counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kane Fury. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Blood drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fury manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Blood has Fury in his guard.
Blood wants to sweep here but Fury controlling him for the moment.

Fury can't escape the position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fury has given up his back.

Blood is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Fury defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Blood is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Fury knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Fury for a finish.
Blood controlling well, preventing Fury from escaping the position.

Fury tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Blood moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fury has worked his arm free - good work by Fury!

Fury is trying to improve his position.
Fury gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fury wants to sweep but Blood has passed to side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zen Blood showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Fury throws a right hand that Blood ducks under and follows up with a left that Blood also avoids with ease.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fury.
Fury looks to clinch
and Blood counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fury thinking.
Blood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fury as he jumps to the side.
Fury shoots in looking for a takedown. Blood tries to sprawl out of it but Fury keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blood manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Blood keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kane Fury. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fury shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blood as he jumps to the side.
Blood shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fury shoots in but Blood avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fury shoots in for a takedown but Blood shows good takedown defense.
Blood fails to land the takedown.

Blood closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fury manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Fury is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blood tries to get to full guard but Fury has control of the leg.
Fury looks to land a strike but Blood avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Fury drops back, looking for a kneebar! Blood looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Blood looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Blood!
Blood gets to mount! Fury was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Blood pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Fury is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fury looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Fury rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Fury gets full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kane Fury.
I think Fury has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
