The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spoons shoots in for a takedown but Arlovski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Arlovski clinches with his opponent.
Spoons has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Arlovski after a bit of a struggle.
Arlovski misses with an elbow over the top.
Arlovski lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Mickey Spoons has been cut.
Spoons goes for a takedown attempt but Arlovski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
