Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Two (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Two comes to the cage accompanied by North Korean Army Girls Just Want To Have Fun. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Two!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Two throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Two misses the shot to the body.

Two looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Gracie controlling the position well.
Gracie keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Two thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Two accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gracie wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Gracie's corner calls for a 1-2. Gracie obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ryan Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Two keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Two throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.

Two shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gracie but Gracie pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Two gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Two is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A looping hook to the body misses from Two. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.

Gracie paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Gracie is trying to control the action in half guard but Two is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Two is trying to maintain the position but Gracie is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gracie lands a nice short elbow.
Mark Two overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Two is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gracie's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gracie's back!
Gracie has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Two.
Gracie finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.
Two throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gracie because Two loaded up on that one.

Gracie is trying desperately to improve position.
Two throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gracie because Two loaded up on that one.
Gracie takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Two working the ground and pound effectively.

Two unloads with some shots from mount but Gracie bucks and avoids them well.

Two throws a sloppy strike and Gracie uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Gracie has ended up in Two's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Gracie swings for the body but Two moves out of range.
Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No luck for Gracie with that takedown attempt.

Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Two manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Two is trying to escape the position but Gracie is controlling the position.

Two is looking to regain half guard here but Gracie keeps moving and retains side control.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Two keeps working.

Gracie works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Two is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Two is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gracie off and has taken his back!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Two, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
