The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckknuckle tries for a takedown but Hoy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Buckknuckle has a takedown stuffed.
Hoy misses with a body shot.
Buckknuckle uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hoy.
Buckknuckle misses with a straight right.
Buckknuckle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hoy was well out of range. Poor timing from Buckknuckle.
Hoy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Elwood Buckknuckle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buckknuckle misses with a two punch combination.
Buckknuckle shoots in and bounces Hoy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Buckknuckle throws a big elbow that misses.
