The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furnival wants to clinch.
Furnival keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Leshley.

Leshley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Furnival's guard.
Furnival is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Leshley is controlling him.
Leshley wants to control from the top but Furnival keeps moving.
Leshley prevents Furnival from getting back to his feet.
Leshley pushing down on Furnival's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Furnival tries to kick Leshley off but Leshley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Leshley wants to pass to mount but Furnival is defending the position.
Furnival is looking to escape.
Leshley seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Furnival wants to get back to his feet.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bobby Leshley wasn't active enough on the ground.
Furnival misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Furnival is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sexton Furnival is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Furnival tries to clinch but Leshley is having none of it.
Leshley thuds his right hand into Furnival's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Sexton Furnival has been cut.
Furnival scores with a kick to the midsection.
Leshley shoots in looking for a takedown. Furnival tries to sprawl out of it but Leshley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Furnival manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Leshley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Furnival throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leshley digs a good body shot into Furnival's ribs.
Leshley shoots in and drives through. Furnival sprawls well.
Furnival fails with an attempt to clinch.
Leshley walks into a left hand.

It looks like Bobby Leshley has been cut.
Furnival lands with a straight right. Leshley didn't see that one coming.
Furnival takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Leshley throws a looping overhand right but Furnival ducks down to avoid it.
Leshley circles away from the clinch attempt
and Leshley counters with a right hand to the body.

Furnival tries to clinch there but Leshley circles away.
Leshley uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Furnival has time to react.
Leshley jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Leshley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Leshley missing with a left hand there. Furnival was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Leshley throws a right and a left that Furnival avoids nicely.
Furnival defending well as Leshley loads up on a big left hand.

and Furnival counters with a head kick that drops Leshley to the mat! Leshley scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Furnival fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Leshley square on the jaw! Damn, Leshley is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

A relieved looking Sexton Furnival thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
