Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salm Miro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hal Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salm Miro had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miro looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Gibson controlling the position from side mount.
Gibson trying to control the position but Miro is working away.
Gibson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gibson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Miro stops Gibson from passing to mount.
Gibson is staying tight to Miro's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Miro is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Gibson is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gibson has hold of Miro's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Miro tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gibson cranks the arm and Miro screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Miro, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
