Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Mica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and james kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mica comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the name by Fort Minor. kent has chosen i can ride my bike with no handlebars as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Mica!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, james kent!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mica will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
kent takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
kent throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mica's waist but Mica gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing kent off to one side.
kent has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mica is trying to break free.
A right handed body shot lands from kent.
Mica wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
kent jumps into guard, dragging Mica to the mat.
Mica wants to stand and escape but instead kent has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Mica is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
kent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
kent throws a looping overhand right but Mica ducks down to avoid it.
Mica misses with a two punch combination.
Mica tries to keep at a distance but kent has taken the fight into the clinch.
kent has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mica is trying to keep an underhook but kent manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Mica knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for kent on the ground.
kent not landing any meaningful shots this time.
kent gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Mica throws a sloppy head kick and kent moves out of range easily.
A nice combination there by Mica.
Mica throws a head kick that misses.
kent has Mica up against the cage in a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
kent is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mica gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Mica is looking to break free of the clinch but kent has double underhooks.
kent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
kent closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
kent looks gassed!
Mica is trying to stand back up but kent is controlling him
kent is taking a breather. Mica says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Mica scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but kent manages to mount him!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mica wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
kent with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Mica tries to lock up and control but kent gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mica avoids a series of strikes thrown by kent.
kent controlling his opponent.

kent in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

kent looking to isolate an arm here. Mica doesn't see it coming and as kent extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by kent!
