The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eddie Gilbert swats away the attempt to clinch by Hammilton.
Hammilton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Eddie Gilbert circles away quickly and effectively.
Hammilton shoots in but no luck this time.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
