Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacoby Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Matthew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lombard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Lombard is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Matthew working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lombard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lombard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lombard sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Matthew's guard.
Matthew is refusing to be controlled, as Lombard sits in half guard.

Lombard seems to be working for a kimura but Matthew defends the submission attempt.
Lombard thows a huge punch but Matthew dodges it nicely.
Lombard frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lombard trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Matthew has left one of his arms exposed and Lombard doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Matthew screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
