Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jun Arai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jun Arai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ethan Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arai closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sackett counters with a good low kick that Arai was not able to check.
Sackett motions for Arai to come forward. Sackett throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Sackett closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Arai did well to prevent Sackett getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

That's time! Arai's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sackett is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ethan Sackett showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Sackett throws a leg kick but Arai sees it coming and moves out of range.

and Sackett counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Arai!

BOOM! Sackett connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Sackett breaks from Arai's wrist control and lands an elbow.


Arai is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big strike lands for Sackett! That's really hurt Arai and he's turned his back - Sackett keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Sackett jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ethan Sackett!
