Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rod The Bod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrell Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rod The Bod!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Bod shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Foster as he avoids it easily.
Foster tries to clinch up but The Bod circles away and keeps his distance.
The Bod shoots for a double leg takedown but Foster sprawls well. He's pushed The Bod's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The Bod chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Foster can pounce on him.
Foster tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Bod paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The Bod shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Foster but Foster pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rod The Bod seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Foster swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Bod tries to pass to full mount but Foster defends it.
Foster has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. The Bod is working away from the top position though.
The Bod passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Foster!
Foster is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The Bod has hold of Foster's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Foster manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The Bod seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Foster is holding on tight.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Foster is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Foster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Bod. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Foster is trying desperately to improve position.

The Bod looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The Bod wants to control the pace but Foster is squirming around nicely.
Foster is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The Bod can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Foster is looking to escape.

Foster is desperately trying to improve his position but The Bod has a good base and remains in mount.
The Bod takes Foster's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Bod throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Foster!

The Bod is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Foster defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

The Bod is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Foster is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The Bod is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Foster knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Foster for a finish.

The Bod throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Foster's waist but Foster gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Bod off to one side.

The Bod tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Foster smiles and moves away.

The Bod closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The Bod moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The Bod working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Foster doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Foster manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The Bod has control of Foster's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Foster regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rod The Bod will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Foster has taken the fight to the clinch.
The Bod has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Foster is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The Bod tries to pull guard but Foster won't allow it.

The Bod changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Foster fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The Bod has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The Bod is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Foster!

The Bod is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Foster can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Foster is rocked!

The Bod working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Foster turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips The Bod off and cradles Foster's limp body as The Bod celebrates with his corner.
