Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, David Jensen!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Col. John T. Hall!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jensen gets caught flat footed, as Hall shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hall throws an elbow that misses. Jensen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hall's guard. Nice move by Jensen!

Hall isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jensen stacks Hall on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jensen!
Hall manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hall throwing shots but Jensen is blocking nicely.

Hall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jensen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hall.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Jensen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hall is looking to escape.

Hall slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Hall looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jensen wants to stand but Hall has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Hall wants to get back to full guard.
Hall won't allow Jensen to pass to mount.
Hall regains full guard. Nicely done.

Hall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jensen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jensen has managed to get both his arms back between Hall's legs - danger averted.
Jensen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Hall is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jensen defends well.
This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jensen wants to control from the top but Hall keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Col. John T. Hall dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Hall gets cracked there but stands up to it.


It looks like Col. John T. Hall has been cut.
Jensen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jensen plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hall throwing shots but Jensen is blocking nicely.
Hall lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Hall looks to land a strike but Jensen avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Hall cracks Jensen with a solid left hand.
Jensen wants to sweep but no luck.
Col. John T. Hall has got the better of the ground game so far.
Jensen wants to stand and escape but Hall is having none of it.
Hall wants to control from the top but Jensen keeps moving.

Jensen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hall tries to free his leg and advance position but Jensen is retaining full guard.
Hall has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jensen pulls Hall in close to prevent any damage.
Hall wants to control from the top but Jensen keeps moving.
Hall works over Jensen with some ground and pound from guard.

Jensen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jensen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Hall is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jensen frees his head nicely. Oh but Hall has switched to an armbar! Jensen is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
