Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lester Howell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neil Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howell tries a low kick but Mann avoids it.

Howell shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Howell showed some decent athleticism there.
Mann wants to improve his position but Howell is controlling well.
Mann slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Howell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Howell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mann has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Howell has managed to get both his arms back between Mann's legs - danger averted.

A nice leg kick lands there from Howell.
That kick from Howell tenderised Mann's leg. Mann is trying to keep his angry face on.

It looks like Neil Mann has been cut.
Howell scores with a nice body kick.

Howell connects with an inside leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Howell is defended easily by Mann.

and Howell counters with a good, hard body kick but Mann shrugs it off.
Mann looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Howell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mann sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mann stuffs the takedown.
Mann throws a shot from downtown. Howell moves away and avoids it.
Howell throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Howell fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lester Howell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Howell tries a head kick but it misses.

Howell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Mann is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Howell tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mann is able to avoid easily.

Howell needs to keep his hands up - Mann had a free shot at his head there.
Mann misses with a looping right.
Howell throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A slow jab from Howell misses its intended target.

Howell is looking to slow Mann down with leg kicks.
Mann tries to score a power double leg takedown but Howell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mann somewhat.
Howell throws a head kick but Mann moves out of range.

Mann swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mann on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mann takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Howell slips a jab and a cross from Mann.

Mann is looking to reverse the position.
Howell lands a few punches from side control.
