The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kongo.
Powers lands with a good body shot.
Kongo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kongo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Good leg kick by Powers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kongo lands a lovely overhand right.
A telegraphed right hand from Kongo misses the target.
Kongo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kongo moves out of range as Powers strikes.
Powers lands a nice shot that snaps Kongo's head back.
Decent striking displayed by Kongo there.
Powers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kongo.
Both fighters circling a little - Powers finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Kongo throws a leg kick but Powers moved away.
Powers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Kongo takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kongo is breathing heavily.
Powers takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A shot to the liver by Powers. Beautiful body shot.
Kongo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Powers.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Powers cracks the inside of Kongo's front leg.
Powers drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Kongo's head, knocking him out cold! Powers is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
