PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshihiro Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sato is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by NWO Triumph. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Emelianenko has managed to clinch.

Sato is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Emelianenko is just riding it out for now. Sato eventually gives up the hold.
Emelianenko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sato looks up at the clock and then as Emelianenko takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sato smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Horrible takedown by Sato or perhaps it was just good defense by Emelianenko which made him look bad.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mirko Emelianenko will probably get the nod.
