The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard blocks a low kick nicely.

Johnson can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

Johnson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Howard ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Howard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Johnson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Howard lunges at Johnson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Johnson's hand.
Howard uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Johnson has time to react.
Howard is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Johnson like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Johnson from another fist facial!
