The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lil I keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Highwind.
Lil I displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Highwind throws out the jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lil I.

Lil I tries to land a front kick but Highwind steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Lil I needs to keep his hands up - Highwind had a free shot at his head there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lil I crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Highwind - the referee stops the clock and Lil I gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Highwind. Lil I manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Horrible takedown by Lil I or perhaps it was just good defense by Highwind which made him look bad.
Highwind leaves Lil I with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Highwind throws out a loose jab but Lil I uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lil I does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Lil I counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Lil I gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Highwind regains guard.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Highwind lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lil I has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lil I and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
