Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Griswold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Torsten Stalhandske (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griswold kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hooking Up The Lights. Stalhandske has chosen Jean Sibelius - Finlandia as his entrance music. Torsten Stalhandske will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stalhandske pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Griswold is landing with some decent strikes but Stalhandske is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stalhandske thows a body shot but no joy.
Stalhandske throws a leg kick but Griswold sees it coming and moves out of range.
Stalhandske fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Griswold.
Griswold tries to close the distance and clinch but Stalhandske swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Griswold scores with a hook to the body. Stalhandske takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stalhandske darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Stalhandske fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Griswold manages to avoid it.
Griswold shoots in but Stalhandske avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Griswold fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Griswold looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rusty Griswold. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stalhandske misses with a wild body shot.
Stalhandske scores with a hook to the body. Griswold takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Griswold shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stalhandske napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Stalhandske takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Stalhandske prevents Griswold from moving into mount.
Griswold wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stalhandske keeps working.
Rusty Griswold overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Griswold slows the pace down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Griswold pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Stalhandske blocking the ground and pound.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Griswold cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Griswold postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Stalhandske in real trouble here! The ref calls for Stalhandske to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
