The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kim has closed the distance and engaged Li in a clinch.
Li lands a damaging elbow.
Kim tries a knee to the head but Li blocks it.

Li gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Li winds up and cracks Kim with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Li is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Li controlling the pace.

Kim is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Li pulls his head out easily.
Kim tries to roll over but Li keeps him under control.
Kim moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Li pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kim is keeping the position for now.

Kim has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Li doesn't defend quickly enough and Kim has managed to lock this one up! Can Li escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kim on a fantastic submission victory.
