The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coffey feints and as Boon raises his hands in defense, Coffey changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Coffey throwing strikes from guard but Boon blocks nicely.
Coffey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Coffey slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Boon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Boon manages to work his way to half guard, despite Coffey's best efforts.

Boon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Coffey pulls his head out easily.
Boon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Coffey's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Coffey's back!
Boon has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Coffey is in real trouble here. Boon gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Coffey is tapping out! Boon wins by rear naked choke!
