Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tito Mortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CD Hues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mortiz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hues.
Nice takedown defense from Hues. No joy for Mortiz on that attempt.
Mortiz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hues but Hues pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mortiz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mortiz rushes Hues and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mortiz drags the fight down to the ground.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mortiz holds on and takes a little breather.
Mortiz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hues tries to kick Mortiz off but Mortiz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hues tries to get to full guard but Mortiz has control of the leg.

Hues really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mortiz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mortiz looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hues is trying to stand back up but Mortiz is controlling him
Hues pushes Mortiz off but Mortiz dives into side control.

Mortiz goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hues has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mortiz but great work by Hues.
Hues stands up.
Hues keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tito Mortiz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hues throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mortiz's waist but Mortiz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hues off to one side.
Hues shoots for a double leg takedown but Mortiz sprawls well. He's pushed Hues's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hues takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hues has hold of Mortiz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mortiz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hues goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Mortiz is on top in guard.

Hues has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mortiz is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hues.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mortiz tries to close the distance and clinch but Hues swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hues keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hues shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Mortiz tries to lock up and control but Hues gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hues looking to ground and pound but Mortiz is blocking nicely.
Hues is looking to stand but Hues has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Mortiz wants to hold on but Hues pushes him away.
Mortiz is trying desperately to improve position.
Mortiz is squirming around, avoiding Hues's attempts to control the action.

Mortiz tries to reverse the position but Hues maintains control.

Mortiz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mortiz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hues has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Mortiz has passed into side control.
Mortiz is looking to take a break and control but Hues is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mortiz decides to stand back up. Mortiz steps back and let's Hues get back to his feet.
Hues tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mortiz wants to clinch up but Hues keeps it at a distance.

Mortiz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mortiz has his takedown stuffed
and Hues counters with a low kick, right behind Mortiz 's knee.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mortiz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hues to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Hues creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mortiz sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hues tries for a takedown but Mortiz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

CD Hues showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
No luck for Hues with that takedown attempt.

Hues tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mortiz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hues somewhat.

CD Hues comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
