Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between New York Strangler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bodies. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden throws a right and a left that both miss.
Durden connects with a jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Strangler is defended easily by Durden.
Durden scores with a jab to the jaw.
Durden looks to land a combination but Strangler avoids it well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Durden looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Strangler avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Strangler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Strangler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Durden defends it nicely.
Durden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strangler paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Strangler dives in and grabs Durden's left leg, looking for a takedown. Durden pushes down on Strangler's head and hops out.

Durden slaps away a takedown attempt from Strangler, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Durden is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Durden throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Strangler looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Durden is fending him off so far but Strangler persists. Nope, Durden circles away and we're back to standing.
Durden lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like New York Strangler has been cut.
Strangler avoids a punch combination nicely.
Durden forces Strangler back against the cage and clinches.
Strangler is trying to push Durden away but Durden has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Strangler's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Durden pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Strangler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Durden circles away quickly and effectively.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Strangler throws a sloppy head kick and Durden moves out of range easily.

Durden throws a hook to the side of Strangler's head but Strangler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Durden lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Durden lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Strangler at a distance.

Durden thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Strangler if he has to take too many more of those.
Strangler shoots for a double leg takedown but Durden sprawls well. He's pushed Strangler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Strangler postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Durden is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Strangler, into his guard.
Durden is pushing down on Strangler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Strangler is fighting to maintain full guard but Durden has managed to sneak the leg through.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Strangler wants to control but Durden is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Durden lands a nice leg kick that just misses Strangler's sensitive parts.
Durden swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Strangler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Durden cracks Strangler with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Durden fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Strangler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Strangler throws a nice looking combination but Durden bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Strangler tries for a takedown but Durden sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Durden fails to land with a series of punches.
Strangler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Durden.
Durden throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Durden throws a body punch but Strangler moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Durden, as that shot connected.
Durden lands with a nice body punch.
Durden throws the left hand but Strangler avoids the punch easily.
New York Strangler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Durden keeps the fight on the outside.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Strangler shoots in for a takedown but Durden shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Strangler doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Strangler.
Durden lands a jab-cross combination.
Strangler is rocked!
Strangler walks straight into a right hand from Durden - that's dropped him! Durden jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Strangler from any more punishment! Strangler complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
