The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinicius walks into a jab.
Metal Ripper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vinicius tries to clinch there but Ripper circles away.
Ripper swings for the body but Vinicius moves out of range.
Ripper throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ripper with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Ripper takes Vinicius's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Vinicius is in trouble.
