Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Qfc Champion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudy Lasik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champion dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Champion swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Champion lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Lasik uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Champion.
Champion misses the shot to the body.
Lasik throws a left and a right that both miss
and Champion counters with an outside leg kick.
Champion stalks Lasik and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lasik's face. Lasik staggers backwards, shaken.
Qfc Champion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Champion. Those never looked like landing.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Champion.
Champion cracks Lasik with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Champion closes the distance but Lasik moves to the side
and Lasik counters with a left to the body.
Lasik misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Champion throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lasik stuns Champion with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Champion walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Champion fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lasik manages to avoid it.

Champion's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Champion duly obliges.
Champion looks to land a combination but Lasik avoids it well.
Lasik throws a series of punches but Champion moves out of range.

Lasik misses with a wild combination.
Lasik connects with a right hand. Champion shakes it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Champion throws a half hearted mid kick.
Champion cracks Lasik with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Champion digs a good hook to Lasik's body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Champion.

Lasik lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Champion backs up against the cage.

Lasik looks gassed!
Lasik rushes Champion with punches - Champion moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Champion goes down! Lasik follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
