Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Humphrey Boggins!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber misses with a lunging right hand
and Boggins counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Faber is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boggins wants to pass to mount but Faber is defending the position.
Ground and pound from Boggins.
Boggins missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Boggins controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boggins wants to take a breather but Faber is having none of it.
Faber is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Boggins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Boggins's back!
Faber working for a choke but Boggins is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Faber is cranking Boggins's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Boggins! He's tightened the choke and Boggins is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Urijah Faber!
In his post fight interview, Urijah Faber started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
