The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goose looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

lllllllllllllIIIIllIIIIl feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
lllllllllllllIIIIllIIIIl slaps away a takedown attempt from Goose, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nose Goose. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goose shoots in looking for a takedown. lllllllllllllIIIIllIIIIl tries to sprawl out of it but Goose keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. lllllllllllllIIIIllIIIIl manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Goose is breathing heavily.

Goose shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says lllllllllllllIIIIllIIIIl as he avoids it easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Goose checks the leg kick.
lllllllllllllIIIIllIIIIl lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Goose circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like Nose Goose has been cut.

Goose shoots in for a takedown but lllllllllllllIIIIllIIIIl shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

lllllllllllllIIIIllIIIIl changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Goose looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
