The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beharry throws a hook to the side of Rodrigues's head but Rodrigues sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rodrigues was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rodrigues swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Beharry is now in Rodrigues's guard. A big mistake from Rodrigues there, giving up the dominant position!

Beharry goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rodrigues has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Beharry but great work by Rodrigues.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
