The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One slips a straight right by Kanne.

Kanne moves into range and clinches up with One.
Kanne fails to pull the fight into his guard.
One stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
One misses with an elbow strike.

One shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kanne as he jumps to the side.

One tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kanne swats him away and circles back towards the center.

One escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kanne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

One drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

One looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kanne is looking to work his way out of this bad position but One is controlling him well.

Kanne bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Kanne looks to land a combination but One avoids it well.
Kanne throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
One tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kanne manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

One decides to pull guard.
One manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Kanne is trying to get back to his feet but One has full control of the position and if anything, Kanne has just worked his way into a worse spot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kanne trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

One lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

One tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kanne's elbow.

One gets through Kanne's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kanne is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - One screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
