Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Juliard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santino Marconi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Juliard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marconi shoots for a takedown but Juliard saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Juliard closes the distance and clinches up with Marconi, looking for a takedown. Juliard pushes Marconi against the cage but Marconi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Marconi gets caught napping as Juliard dives in and scores a takedown. Marconi manages to retain guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Marconi tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Marconi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Juliard controls Marconi momentarily but Marconi frees himself.

Juliard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marconi is fending him off so far but Juliard persists. Nope, Marconi circles away and we're back to standing.

Marconi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Marconi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Juliard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
