The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laus throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Napanderi slips under a jab.
Napanderi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Laus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Napanderi!
Napanderi regains half guard.
Napanderi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Laus.
Laus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Napanderi keeps working.
Laus missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Laus seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Napanderi gets full guard.
Laus throws a big right hand that misses.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Napanderi is on top in guard.

Napanderi drops back looking for a leg! Laus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Laus manages to kick Napanderi off! Napanderi jumps back into Laus's guard.

Laus has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Napanderi has passed into side control.
Laus is trying to improve his position.
Laus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Napanderi on the ground.

Napanderi moves into full mount!

Napanderi goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Laus turns into him and now he's in Napanderi's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Laus keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Napanderi's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Napanderi is trying to control the position but Laus postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Napanderi pushes a forearm under Laus's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Laus is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
