Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordan Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hate Me Now. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Durant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gordan Gomez!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant misses the shot to the body.
Durant throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Durant has taken the fight to the clinch.

Gomez tightens his grip and picks Durant up, before dumping him to the ground. Durant manages to land in guard.
Durant not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Durant will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Durant is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gomez defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Durant working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gomez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gomez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gomez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Durant. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gomez gets to his feet - Durant follows without any prompting.
A looping hook to the body misses from Durant. Gomez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gomez moves out of range of the leg kick from Durant.

Gomez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Durant's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gomez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Durant has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gomez has managed to get both his arms back between Durant's legs - danger averted.

Durant is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gomez rolls with it to try and escape but Durant cranks on the arm and Gomez is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Kevin Durant really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Charlie Wang's Tattered Rags & 95% Laundry logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
