The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Service is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ling missing with a left hand there. Service was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Service scores with a takedown into Ling's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ling trying to keep a closed guard but Service is proving a slippery customer.
Ling utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Service with a flurry of punches that miss.
Ling knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Service on the ground.
Service sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ling's guard.
Service has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ling defend it? Service steps over the head and cranks it - Ling is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Service!
