The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arkhipov scores with a nice strike.
Quick is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Quick closes the distance and clinches up with Arkhipov, looking for a takedown. Quick pushes Arkhipov against the ropes but Arkhipov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Quick counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Arkhipov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Quick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Arkhipov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

and Quick counters with a nice low kick that buckles Arkhipov's knee momentarily.

Quick darts in and clinches Arkhipov up against the ropes.
Arkhipov gets through Quick's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Arkhipov manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Quick dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oooh a lovely combination from Arkhipov sends Quick down but not out. Arkhipov dives into side control looking to finish.

Quick is rocked!

It looks like Mike Quick has been cut.
A big shot lands for Arkhipov! That's hurt Quick! Will he recover? Arkhipov fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
