Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Boi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Aleksandrenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Steven Boi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maxim Aleksandrenko!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aleksandrenko gets a clinch.
Aleksandrenko utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Aleksandrenko wants to take the fight to the mat but Boi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Aleksandrenko keeps control of Boi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Boi is trying to break the clinch but Aleksandrenko is controlling him.
Boi wants to break free but Aleksandrenko has control.
Boi tries to circle away but Aleksandrenko has him pinned against the cage.
Boi is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Boi is looking to break free of the clinch but Aleksandrenko has double underhooks.

Aleksandrenko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boi tries to clinch there but Aleksandrenko circles away.
Boi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aleksandrenko.
Steven Boi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxim Aleksandrenko.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Boi.
No joy there for Boi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Aleksandrenko has eaten all the pies!

Boi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Aleksandrenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boi tries to avoid it but Aleksandrenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boi to the ground. Boi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Aleksandrenko fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Boi lands a jab to the head.
Aleksandrenko shoots in looking for a takedown. Boi tries to sprawl out of it but Aleksandrenko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Aleksandrenko clinches up with Boi and pushes him back against the cage.
Boi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Aleksandrenko has him pressed against the cage.

Aleksandrenko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Boi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice straight punches there by Boi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Boi.

and Boi counters with a left and a right that stings Aleksandrenko.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A nice combination there by Boi.
Boi misses with a wild combination.
Boi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Boi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aleksandrenko's guard.
Aleksandrenko tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Boi stands and steps away. Aleksandrenko gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Aleksandrenko is looking to clinch but Boi is avoiding it.
Boi closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Boi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aleksandrenko swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Aleksandrenko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Boi just misses with a punch to the body.
Aleksandrenko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boi avoids it really well and circles away.

Boi swings for the body but Aleksandrenko moves out of range.
Aleksandrenko shoots in looking for a takedown but Boi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Aleksandrenko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Aleksandrenko gets caught napping as Boi dives in and scores a takedown. Aleksandrenko manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boi stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Aleksandrenko shoots in for a takedown but Boi shows good takedown defense.
Boi tries to bum rush Aleksandrenko with a series of wild strikes but Aleksandrenko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aleksandrenko circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Aleksandrenko moves in looking to clinch but Boi pushes him off.
Aleksandrenko is trying desperately to land a takedown but Boi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Aleksandrenko.
Boi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boi wants to get back to striking at distance but Aleksandrenko won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Boi is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Aleksandrenko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boi sprawls well. Boi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aleksandrenko gets slowly back to his feet.

and Aleksandrenko counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Boi is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Boi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aleksandrenko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Aleksandrenko takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Boi is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Boi goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
