PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aadilou Ankutse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Young Buck - Loose My Mind. Ankutse has chosen i ka kane as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ankutse tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.

and Jones counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ankutse tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jones moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Ankutse drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones!

Ankutse is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount.
Ankutse sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
