Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sinjo Sakamaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes into the arena with molliwhopped- Earl Sweatshirt blaring out of the sound system. Sakamaki has chosen Kung fu fighting(original) as his entrance music. Sinjo Sakamaki has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marcus Williams's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sinjo Sakamaki!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakamaki closes the distance looking to clinch
and Williams counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Williams keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sakamaki's head.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sakamaki stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Sakamaki tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sakamaki pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

and Williams counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sakamaki thinking.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Williams is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marcus Williams will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
