Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Mariuz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beck has chosen Seek and Destroy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck clobbers Mariuz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Maxim Mariuz has been cut.

Mariuz gets a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Beck is pressing down on Mariuz's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Beck manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Beck is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Mariuz is forced to tap! Great finish!
