Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zhuge Nu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Sabre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabre fails to land with a series of punches.
Nu tries to bum rush Sabre with a series of wild strikes but Sabre uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Nu throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sabre tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nu is in Sabre's guard.
Nu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Sabre is looking to sweep but instead, Nu has passed into half guard.
Sabre wants to control but Nu is keeping busy.
Sabre won't allow Nu to pass to mount.

Nu perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Nu working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Nu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sabre with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
