The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mercury uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Franklin.
Mercury really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mercury ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Franklin moves away.

Mercury tries to sprawl but Franklin drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Mercury shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Freddie Mercury will probably get the nod.
