Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michal Wojarski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zyd Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres has chosen Game Over as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Zyd Torres!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wojarski.
Wojarski throws a big shot that misses.
Wojarski shoots in for a takedown but Torres shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Zyd Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torres scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Michal Wojarski has been cut.
Wojarski is looking to clinch but Torres is avoiding it.
Torres connects with an inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Torres throws a leg kick that is checked
and Wojarski counters with a nice body shot.
Torres lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Torres tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wojarski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wojarski shoots in but Torres avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Wojarski gets a double leg takedown into Torres's guard.

Torres has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wojarski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Torres is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wojarski lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Torres preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Wojarski advances position into side control!

Wojarski tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Torres manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Wojarski is trying is best to control the position here.
Torres thows a huge punch but Wojarski dodges it nicely.
Torres really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wojarski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wojarski keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Torres working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Wojarski is looking to control Torres's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wojarski avoid being mounted?
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wojarski slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Wojarski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Torres stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Wojarski has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Torres manages to get his head free but now Wojarski has transitioned to an armbar! Torres grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Wojarski! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Michal Wojarski!
Michal Wojarski tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
