The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Danson clinches but Aziz breaks the clinch
and Aziz counters with a nice leg kick.
Danson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Aziz counters with a three punch combo that has Danson backing up. Danson nods at Aziz to acknowledge the strikes.

and Danson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Aziz's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Danson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Danson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Aziz in real trouble here! The ref calls for Aziz to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
