The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antonio shoots in for a double leg but Beard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That has opened up Paulo Antonio's cut even more.
Beard has Antonio pressed against the cage. He pushes Antonio back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Beard throws a beautiful elbow that sends Antonio crashing to the floor! Beard piles on the pressure with more strikes! Antonio is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Spox Beard decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
