Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Umair Kayani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neo Sword (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Umair Kayani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Neo Sword!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Kayani scores with a four punch combination!


It looks like Neo Sword has been cut.
Kayani lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kayani moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kayani throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kayani fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kayani lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kayani.
Kayani cracks Sword with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sword.
Sword throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kayani's waist but Kayani gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sword off to one side.
Sword tries to bum rush Kayani with a series of wild strikes but Kayani uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kayani smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Kayani throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sword misses with a two punch combination.
Kayani works over Sword's head and body with a nice combination.
A combination from Kayani does no damage.
Sword looks to score with a jab to the body but Kayani is just out of range.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Sword.
Umair Kayani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neo Sword.
Kayani rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sword moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sword shoots in for a double leg but Kayani sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kayani fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sword on the side of the head.
Kayani looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kayani slaps away a takedown attempt from Sword, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kayani connects with a single shot there.
Kayani misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kayani moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Neo Sword seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sword is defended easily by Kayani.
Kayani misses with the combination.
Kayani lands an overhand right.

A combination from Kayani does no damage.
No joy there for Kayani, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kayani looks to land a combination but Sword avoids it well.
Kayani swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown by Sword or perhaps it was just good defense by Kayani which made him look bad.

Sword throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kayani.
Sword takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kayani goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Kayani throws a big shot that misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sword is defended easily by Kayani.

Sword throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kayani showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sword.
A combination from Sword does no damage.
Sword looks gassed!
Kayani closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kayani lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sword circles away quickly and effectively.
Kayani displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Sword closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kayani is pushing Sword's head away, looking to escape. Sword manages to hold on to the position though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sword tries for a kimura but Kayani is defending well.
Kayani takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Sword is trying to get an arm triangle but Kayani is defending well.
Kayani is pushing Sword's head away, looking to escape. Sword manages to hold on to the position though.

Sword stands up and beckons Kayani to his feet.
Sword shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kayani but Kayani pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The cut above Neo Sword's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kayani is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sword feints and as Kayani raises his hands in defense, Sword changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kayani wants to stand up but Sword is controlling him.
Kayani knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sword on the ground.

Sword thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Umair Kayani dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Neo Sword's cut.
That's time! Kayani's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Kayani looks to land a combination but Sword avoids it well.
Sword drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Sword closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kayani is not content to let Sword control the position.
Sword misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Sword is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kayani knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sword has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kayani is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Sword yanks on the arm and Kayani is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Sword.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Neo Sword!
