Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cosmo Corbin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Moorhouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steven Moorhouse has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cosmo Corbin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steven Moorhouse!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moorhouse shoots and misses
and Corbin counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Moorhouse throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
enabling Corbin to counter with a crisp jab.


Moorhouse is rocked!

Moorhouse closes the distance and clinches.
Corbin has Moorhouse pressed against the cage, preventing Moorhouse from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Moorhouse's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Moorhouse throws a head kick but Corbin moves out of range.
Corbin is looking to clinch.
Moorhouse swats away the attempt to clinch by Corbin.
Moorhouse shoots for a takedown but Corbin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Corbin is looking to clinch but Moorhouse is avoiding it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Corbin gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Corbin working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Moorhouse's thigh. Moorhouse counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Corbin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Moorhouse has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Corbin has managed to get both his arms back between Moorhouse's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Corbin trying to control the position from guard on top but Moorhouse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Moorhouse pushes Corbin off and scrambles back to his feet.

Corbin moves into the clinch.
Moorhouse wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Corbin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moorhouse tries to clinch but Corbin is having none of it.

Moorhouse tries to clinch there but Corbin circles away.

and Moorhouse counters with a head kick. That will keep Corbin thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Moorhouse takes the fight into the clinch.

Corbin breaks the clinch.
Corbin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Moorhouse paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Corbin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Corbin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moorhouse swivels and escapes.

and Moorhouse counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Corbin's guard now.
Moorhouse wants to stand but Corbin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Moorhouse decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Moorhouse rushes Corbin and presses him up against the cage.

Moorhouse breaks from the clinch.
Corbin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Moorhouse tries to clinch up but Corbin circles away and keeps his distance.
Moorhouse showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Corbin.
Corbin leaves Moorhouse with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Corbin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Moorhouse rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Corbin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sloppy strikes from Corbin. Those never looked like landing.
Moorhouse is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Cosmo Corbin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Moorhouse lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Corbin circles away quickly and effectively.

Corbin stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Corbin slips a jab and a cross from Moorhouse.
Corbin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Corbin lands with a right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Corbin misses with a jab, cross combination.

Moorhouse avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Corbin shoots in looking for a takedown but Moorhouse manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Corbin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Moorhouse throws a right and a left that Corbin avoids nicely.
Corbin is looking to clinch.
Corbin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Moorhouse.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Corbin enables Moorhouse to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Corbin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Corbin manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Moorhouse circles away from the clinch attempt.
Corbin avoids the head kick by Moorhouse.

Corbin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Moorhouse manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Corbin wants to break free but Moorhouse has control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Moorhouse counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Corbin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moorhouse looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Moorhouse had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Corbin defends it easily.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Corbin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
