Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Cromptom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Poddubny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poddubny is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Champion Of The Champions. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Poddubny darts in and clinches Cromptom up against the cage.
Poddubny tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Poddubny gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Cromptom on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cromptom tries to get out of the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Poddubny with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cromptom wants to stand and escape but Poddubny is having none of it.
Cromptom will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Poddubny postures up and lands a big shot to Cromptom's brow.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Poddubny accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ivan Poddubny decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
