The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morrison closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Morrison tries to circle away but Sabre has him pinned against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Sabre - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Sabre blocks a body shot from Morrison.

Morrison looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Sabre pulls Morrison into guard.

Morrison drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sabre manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Morrison has Sabre in his guard.

Sabre really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Morrison throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sabre escapes and throws Morrison's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Sabre content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sabre tries to score with some ground and pound. Morrison controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Sabre decides to stand back up.
Morrison wants to clinch up but Sabre keeps it at a distance.
Morrison misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sabre.

and Sabre counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Morrison is working an open guard so Sabre takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Sabre fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Morrison, pushing him back against the cage.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Morrison has eaten all the pies!
Sabre blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Sabre lands a left hand.
Morrison prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sabre keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Morrison's efforts to push away.
Morrison wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Sabre ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sabre no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Sabre has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Morrison doesn't defend quickly enough and Sabre has managed to lock this one up! Can Morrison escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Sabre on a fantastic submission victory.
