Romero comes to the cage accompanied by Deftones -Rocket Skates. Larkin has chosen Hollywood Undead as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Larkin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Romero looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Larkin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Romero is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Larkin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Larkin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Romero, who protects the arm well.

Larkin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Larkin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Larkin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Larkin swings around for an armbar but Romero sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Larkin's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Larkin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Romero doesn't defend quickly enough and Larkin has managed to lock this one up! Can Romero escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Larkin on a fantastic submission victory.

Steven Larkin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
