The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coughlin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barnes swivels and escapes.
Coughlin throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Binky Barnes has been cut.
Barnes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barnes throws a big shot that misses.
Barnes misses with a straight right.
Coughlin is looking to clinch but Barnes is avoiding it.

Barnes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Coughlin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Barnes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Coughlin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Barnes wants to get up but he can't break Coughlin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
